TORONTO, June 20, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Frame of Mind Coaching is announcing their new coaching certification program which trains coaches to communicate with clients 70 times in 70 days using online journals.
In addition to weekly phone calls, Frame of Mind Coaches ask clients to journal daily, and use these entries to identify beliefs and perspectives that interfere with their success and their happiness.
Founder and President Kim Ades insists that client journals are essential to the coaching process. “I think that there are very few coaches who can manage without a journal,” she said. “Most coaches are ill-equipped to coach because they don’t have enough client data to work with. It’s like they have a blindfold on.”
Daily client journaling quickly establishes trust between a coach and their client, and simultaneously uncovers a wealth of data relating to mindset and emotions that would otherwise have been overlooked. Journaling also has a plethora of immediate and long-term physical and mental health benefits, including stress reduction and improved immune system functioning.
Frame of Mind Certification teaches coaches how to interpret and respond to client journals in a way that brings about radical change at an accelerated rate. It is a nine-month multi-step program that also includes practical sales training, 1-on-1 personal coaching, coach training from a Frame of Mind Coach, a practicum and an oral exam.
Coaches cannot be certified through FOM Coaching without undergoing their own personal coaching. “As a coaching school, we’re committed to the development of our coaches as much as we are committed to their ability to develop others,” Ades said.
